Surfer Dudes and Athleisure Rule at Thaddeus O'Neil Spring 2017
With his long hair and athletic frame, designer Thaddeus O'Neil could have been one of the models at his Spring 2017 show during this season of New York Fashion Week: Men's. And that's precisely the point: the former model and photographer always considers his own jet set lifestyle when designing. “I wear my own brand 90% of the time,” he said, on a recent trip with the CFDA Fashion Incubator to Mexico. For Spring 2017, that means soft, sporty staples like hoodies and sweat pants, jewelry by fellow CFDA Fashion Incubator members K/LLER Collection, and, most surprisingly, Ugg boots. O'Neil's taking athleisure to the next level. Go backstage with photographer Emily Malan here.
